Kibera solar solution

Youth in Nairobi's Kibera slum are being taught to build solar-powered lamps for sale. Kenya is currently rationing its power due to a prolonged drought, and is desperately seeking ways to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and hydropower. This may just be the light at the end of the dark tunnel.
