Birds Eye View is a film festival devoted entirely to celebrating international women filmmakers. Our 2010 London based Film Festival will open with a special gala screening of short films on March 4th at the BFI Southbank, for which we are now looking for submissions from talented women all over the globe. We are especially interested in finding women who are making films from within developing countries, or against adversity. For more information on the festival in general, and previous Birds Eye View festivals, please go to http://www.birds-eye-view.co.uk/
We are just looking for SHORT FILM submissions this year; I have attached guidelines and submission form to this email, which should answer all queries. We would like to add however that as we are keen to recruit women filmmakers from within your networks we are willing to waive the submission cost if a filmmaker is unable to pay the fee. To spread the word about the competition we are looking for notices in newsletters, on websites and of course word of mouth. If you are keen to feature the competition news, and have any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch. However, the final submission deadline is 16th November so there is not much time left...

That would be great and something to look forward to.
