The D.I.V.O. Project is an online digital video dialogue between young Muslim women from Accra, Ghana and students from Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School for Girls in London, UK.

The project uses devised and participatory storytelling techniques to create short digital video clips based on participants experience of Gender which are uploaded and exchanged. The programme features digital filmmaking and technology workshops.

The 3 aims of the project are:

1) To increase participants cross-cultural awareness

2) To improve participants IT skills

3) To increase the ability of young women to make informed choices about gender and sexual health

The project and process is owned by the 28 participants. All stories and decisions about their filming and production are made by the group. Together, we are exploring gender and sexual health in an open, fun and safe way, sharing thoughts and concerns with our partner group of peers. Participants are learning about technology and new ways to communicate; engaging in cultural attitudes about gender and learning creative digital video and storytelling skills.
