Burnley Community Farm Project

A Brief Description of Me

We are members of the Burnley community farm project which we are planning to create in a rundown area of Daneshouse and Stoneyholme. To get ideas for the project we visited the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. We were inspired by examples of sustainable farming, recycling, the use of plants and other natural resources and by what was achieved by one person with a vision. The trip also brought together people from different areas of Burnley and was an enjoyable social event, too. We made a video story of our trip to Cornwall and hope this will be the first of several as we document the collective process of setting up our farm.
