STEPS TEAM

All the films were made with the support of the most experienced producers from the region together with the professional guidance from some of the best documentary filmmakers and commissioning editors in the world. 

The films, selected from more than 200 proposals, were ready for delivery in October 2001 and were broadcast around World AIDS Day, 1st December 2001. In our collection are several 52-minute documentaries, some to made by award winning directors like Brian Tilley and Licinio Azevedo, others by the new generation of young Southern African filmmakers such as Dumisani Phakathi, Khalo Matabane, Beverley Ditsie and Cecil Moller.
