My other work-in-progress is AVENUE OF ASPIRATIONS about the history, neighborhoods, architecture, and people of 16th Street, a Washington DC thoroughfare which serves as a microcosm for the great changes in urban development, race relations, religious community, and immigration patterns in the United States over the course of the 20th century.

My contribution to One World is TALKING THREADS, also a collaboration with Leon Gerskovic.   This documentary focuses on the the surprising reactions of American and international students at a suburban Washington DC community college to the events of September 11.  This project was produced as part of WAR AND PEACE, a collaborative project of the D-Word Community.  More info at http://www.d-word.com
